Technician Training

As the largest backflow tester in the state, Backflows Northwest has developed an effective training system which goes beyond state requirements. Our hands on training has proven to be effective in preparing technicians for their practical and written certification exams, but we don’t stop there. In our training, you will learn to identify the different backflow prevention assemblies, their approved applications, and how to test each device. These processes follow University of Southern California testing procedures which are the standard in Washington State.

We also provide training for:
– Testing an RPBA with a 3 needle valve gauge.
– DCDA/RPDA type I and II testing procedures and bypass flow verification.
– Failure diagnostics, clean-outs, and repairs.
– OS&Y packing repair
